GITP – Corporate website
Redesign of the corporate website to promote the unique products and services of GITP
Request
The initial request was to improve the structure of the corporate website of GITP. The problem they wanted to solve was that it was not clear to users of the website what exactly GITP’s services and products are. With the unique combination of online and live assessments and integrated services GITP distinguishes itself from the competition. This should be better promoted on the website.
Promote unique combination of online and live assessments and integrated services
My role
As the only UX designer within the organization I primarily worked on Interaction and UI design, user research and stakeholder management.
Activities
UX/UI design
Created responsive and detailed designs for the development team.
Visual design
Create all visuals that could be used within the website and social media. Designed flyers and leaflets for events
Prototyping
A clickable prototype was created for the user test. It also provided great insights to the stakeholders.
Stakeholder interviews
During interviews with stakeholders, it became apparent that the desire was greater than just to improve the site structure
User tests
Discover users’ needs and thoughts. User tests provided great insights into the solutions and services that customers are looking for and how users interpreted information presented on the website.
User flow and site structure
The usertest confirmed that there was a need for a new site structure and userflow. Information about the company itself is still available, but it is now the services, solutions, and integrated services that are in the spotlight.
Design check
Checked the implemented design and tested the functionalities in the test, acceptance and production environment.
Outcome
During interviews with stakeholders, it became apparent that the desire was greater than just to improve the site structure. A user test provided great insights into the solutions and services that customers are looking for and how users interpreted information presented on the website.
This was the basis for the new site structure and userflow. Information about the company itself is still available, but it is now the services, solutions, and integrated services that are in the spotlight.
“The new website makes me curious because it says more about the content of the assessments.”
The next challenge was to optimize the UI & UX with as few adjustments as possible. The basis of the site has remained the same, but the entire appearance and user interface of the website has been adjusted. This resulted in a website where the (potential) customers are guided through the various types of assessments GITP offers. Where the GITP training courses were previously hidden away, they have been given a more prominent place and can be promoted more easily. Less text and more images have made the site clearer and quickly introduces the user to the possibilities that GITP offers.
Launch
This project leaded to a successful launch of the new GITP website in november 2023.
