With over 20 years of experience in all aspects of UX/UI design, visual design, and project management, I am confident that I can make a valuable contribution to any team and project I am a part of. As a UX/UI professional, I excel in forward-thinking and driving strategic initiatives, inspiring teams to bring out their best. Driven by user-centric thinking, I collaborate with developers to achieve the best possible outcome together. With a solid background in project management, I guide and motivate designers and developers to achieve collective success. Known for persuasive communication, I am able to inspire and convince stakeholders to opt for the best solutions for the user.

With my experience, I like to inspire other designers and help them to expand their knowledge, but I also like to get inspired by fellow team members. Eager to learn new skills, in 2023 I’ve completed a course in behavioral design at the Behavioral Change Academy. A valuable addition to my UX knowledge when defining wishes and requirements, with user research and discussions with stakeholders.

Until February 15th 2024 I’ve been working as a freelance UX/UI & visual designer at GITP. From pure visual design for marketing & sales and redesign of the corporate website, up to improvement and further development of the assessment platform. I have set up a design system, implementation is still in development, but we have already been able to make great UX improvements.

Another big project I have been working on in the last couple of years is the new application flows for insurance and consumer credits at ABN AMRO bank. An Agile environment that covered all facets of UX, including data driven design, user research and a design system in development. As I am used to work with offshore teams I am used to speak, read and write in English. This is also when I found out that working in a corporate environment suits me well.
